Terms
Kick the Tyres is a free guide based on MOT records. It is not an inspection of your car.
What we provide
We read your car's MOT history from DVSA records and compare it with cars like it. The chance of failing is a guide to what to check first, not a promise.
What we can't promise
- MOT records only show the car on the day of each test.
- A car with a low chance can still fail, and a high chance can still pass.
- DVSA records can sometimes be wrong or incomplete.
A garage check is always the final word.
Our responsibility
We work hard to get it right, but we can't be responsible for decisions based only on our result. Nothing here affects your legal rights as a consumer.
Fair use
Please don't copy our results in bulk or use automated tools on the site.
